Imrul Shahriar obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry at Purdue University. He worked on the development of targeted antiviral and cancer immunotherapies with Dr. Philip S. Low, with a primary focus on creating effective therapeutic strategies to combat viral infections caused by influenza and other enveloped viruses.

Imrul’s academic journey began with a BS (Honors) in Chemistry from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received the prestigious Ross Fellowship from Purdue Graduate School to pursue his doctoral studies. Complementing his academic pursuits, Imrul also played an integral role in Eradivir, Inc., a biotech startup co-founded by Dr. Low, where he is currently serving as the Director of Discovery and expanding Eradivir’s BAiT platform into the oncology space. Through this engagement, he is actively contributing to translating laboratory discoveries into tangible treatment options for patients. With a forward-looking perspective, Imrul aspires to contribute to therapeutic discovery and development programs at Eradivir Inc with a vision to guide innovations from their inception to real-world implementation.
